I am a complete novice so any comments are welcome.
I am trying to make a simple LED circuit for an aquarium hood. I have a waterproof led driver rated 10w, 25-42v and 300mA. To this I am attempting to connect two led lights in series. The lights are rated 12v and 2w (these ones http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/151198333197?cmd=VIDESC ). When I light up the lights soon over heat and start to smoke. How can I remedy this? Will it need a resistor and/or heat sink?
Thanks in advance for the help.
